Giving to the American Religious Liberty Institute and the American Religious Liberty Institute Foundation: What Is the Difference?
You can defend and advance religious liberty by donating to either the American Religious Liberty Institute (ARLI) or the ARLI Foundation.
ARLI: Gifts to ARLI allow us the greatest flexibility in our work. While not tax deductible, they advance our core mission of advocating and lobbing in legislatures at the federal and local level to advance religious liberty. We also educate U.S. Citizens about the importance of separation of Church and State. When you make a contribution to the ARLI, you become a member who takes a stand for religious liberty.
ARLI Foundation: If you prefer to make a tax-deductible gift, we encourage you to support the ARLI Foundation. Gifts to the Foundation support our litigation, communications, and public education efforts, but by law, they cannot be used for legislative initiatives.
Regardless of how you choose to support the work of the American Religious Liberty Institute, we’re honored to have you as a partner in this critical work.
